Today on X he posted his retirement video of 9:50 minutes, expressing his journey, momeories, family and Indian football team. He talks about the very first game he played when he wore the jersey for the first time and played his game, he says that the day changed his life and his passion for the country, playing for the country is very high. His last game would be India’s world cup qualification match against Kuwait.

He is ranked 3rd among highest goal scorer in internation football after Messi and ronaldo. He Played for India for 19 years. He is the leader of football team , most experienced as of now. In his video he said that his wife started crying after his decision oif retirement. He feels sad that he will not be able to play for the country again, the little kid inside him always be fighting to play football, but the sensible and mature person knows that this is it.
